Olympus E-410
Released in early 2007 to replace the E400, the Olympus E-410 is a featherweight contender in the entry-level category, and one of the cheapest digital SLR available.
With its small, light body, the 410 is easy to carry anywhere. Advanced users will appreciate the RAW capabilities of such an inexpensive camera, as well as its monochrome mode. Startup takes a moment, but the shutter fires without noticeable delay. The autofocus is fast but basic, with just three focus points. On the other hand, the viewfinder is small, making composition more difficult.
The E-410 is a four-thirds camera. This means that its viewfinder and the resulting photos are squarer, like a traditional television screen, than the aspect ratio seen in 35mm and most digital photography. It accepts lenses from a number of manufacturers, including Olympus and Leica.

Issues with its automatic exposure and white balance make it an unsatisfactory option as a first DSLR for newbies
The E410 is a “… professional-level camera that puts an emphasis on mobility and ease-of-use”.
The E-410 will appeal to entry-level DSLR shooters looking for a smaller, lighter, and more affordable camera body
The 410 has the SuperSonic Wave Filter that literally shakes off dust … A nice feature to have
Some may feel that its size doesn’t make it look like a ’serious’ camera despite its otherwise fairly traditionalist styling, but at times that too can be a bonus.
If you want a highly portable DSLR and aren’t too bothered about image stabilisation then the E-410 would make a rewarding enthusiast’s camera.
If you play with the settings for a while (…) you’ll see that the camera is capturing just as much detail (if not more) than other ten megapixel digital SLRs.
if stabilised optics aren’t a priority, the E-410 is a great choice.

Despite signing up to the FourThirds digital design standard with other companies, Olympus have been the main proponent of the new standard, though Panasonic are about to add to their single offering in this field.
